Someone asked how would I endorse a paycheck with §83? I
answered that I endorse all my checks with the following, using a stamp:
"Deposited for credit on account or exchanged for non-redeemable Federal Reserve notes."
That is base on 12 U.S.C. §411, which states in
pertinent part:
They [FRN's] shall be redeemed in lawful money on demand at the Treasury Department of the United States, in the city of Washington, District of Columbia, or at any Federal Reserve bank.
But since the question was base on 83, I thought I would pass on to David to get his response.

"ALL RIGHTS RESERVED - This check is proof of a violation of 26 USC 83."
I think his opinion is brilliant, because you show 3 things
1. you are relying on statute,
2. you have and expressing a good faith belief how section 83 operates in your conclusion,
3. and the great part is you are creating a record!
I will be ordering my stamp to say same or something similar. Have to think about it.
